BACKGROUND

Lynn Boccio is a bilingual attorney. As a former civil defense attorney, Lynn was affiliated with one of the nation’s leading law firms. She is also a former prosecutor who worked for television personality “Judge Judy” as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for The City of New York. Lynn served as a faculty member of The National Institute of Trial Advocacy for the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York where she taught trial techniques to law students and attorneys.

MANAGEMENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 Lynn served as Vice President of Strategic Business and Diversity Relations for a major car rental company for 24 years.  Lynn joined the company in 1996 to develop and implement a unit that would expand the company’s utilization of disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned businesses. Under Lynn’s supervision, the unit created a world class supplier diversity program which earned top awards and honors and differentiated the company from its competitors. In addition, the unit generated federally mandated compliance reports to airports and second tier reports for major corporate accounts.

 

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

Lynn has extensive experience in supply chain diversity, strategic business development and community relations in the tri-state area as well as nationally. Regional work includes:

 Participated in events and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Long Island Fund for Women & Girls, Inc.

  • Attended the Latino Law Students Annual Dinner for The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York
  • Participation on The Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Scholarship Fund
