Sometimes a horse built by committee is actually a better horse. When then-vice president of Strategic Business & Diversity Relations for Avis Budget Group Lynn Boccio—founder of the The LYNNK—joined forces with airport senior planner and Salt Lake City Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Coordinator Raymond Christy at the 2016 Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) Conference, they corralled eight more aviation professionals and launched a committee to build that better horse in the form of advancing diversity in aviation.
